Nestled along the stunning Norfolk coast, just a stone's throw from the famous seal colonies at Horsey Gap, this new attraction was designed to reflect the natural beauty and family-friendly ethos of the park.
The Project: A Coastal Adventure
Our mission was to transform an underutilised area of the park into a high-quality, low-maintenance asset that would provide year-round entertainment for guests of all ages.
Key Features of the Waxham Sands Course:
- Bespoke Design: We worked closely with the Lovat Parks team to ensure the course felt like a "Little Lovat Detail"—premium, fun, and perfectly integrated into the park’s coastal landscape.
- Professional Grade Surfacing: Using high-performance artificial turf and durable "Wonder Yarn," we created a course that offers a consistent "true-roll" putting experience while standing up to the British coastal weather.
- Accessible Fun: In line with our "Design for All" philosophy, the course features "WetPour" pathways and inclusive layouts, ensuring that wheelchair users and families with pushchairs can enjoy the game together.
- Low Maintenance, High Impact: By using industry-leading synthetic materials, we’ve provided Waxham Sands with a facility that stays lush and green throughout the season with minimal upkeep.
